WoW Forever Alcaz Prison Entrance Location and Route

Alcaz Prison is beneath the prison building at the northern end of Alcaz Island, off Dustwallow Marsh's northeastern coast. Reaching the island is only the first part of the trip. The dungeon portal is downstairs inside the building, not on the shore.
Location at a Glance
- Zone: Dustwallow Marsh
- Level guidance: 48-53
- Version: World of Warcraft: Forever

How to Reach the Entrance
- Travel to the northeastern Dustwallow coast and swim across to Alcaz Island, gathering at the wooden pier on its western shore.
- Follow the island path north to the prison building, around 75.0, 14.7 on the Dustwallow Marsh map.
- Enter the building and take the stairs down through the cells. The instance portal is in a stone arch at the bottom, around 75.5, 13.7.
Alliance and Horde Travel
Alliance groups can stage from Theramore before following the coast north. Horde players can use Brackenwall Village and travel east towards the coast facing Alcaz Island. There is no direct flight path or boat to the island, so leave time for the swim and wait for everyone before moving inland.
Before You Go
The zone-map marker projects the underground portal onto Alcaz Island. It does not mean the portal is outside at ground level. Find the northern prison building first, then use its stairs rather than searching the beach for an instance door.
The small prison hut from older Classic versions has been replaced by Forever's larger entrance building. Keep the group together through the island and the stairs. This map locates the entrance; it is not a floor plan of the cell blocks inside the dungeon.
