World of Warcraft: Midnight’s September 23 Hotfixes Fix 2 Class Bugs and a Delve Issue
Unholy Death Knights receive a Blightfall correction, Windwalker's PvP adjustments stop affecting PvE, and faction-changed characters get a fix for Valeera's ability problem.

World of Warcraft: Midnight‘s September 23 hotfixes include three bug fixes. Unholy Death Knights no longer lose Blightfall damage as a plague remains active, Windwalker’s PvP adjustments no longer affect PvE, and a faction-change problem involving Valeera now has a recovery step.
Unholy’s correction addresses damage decreasing as more time passes after the plague is applied. For Windwalker, the PvP adjustments to Celestial Conduit and Flurry Strikes had also been applying in PvE. Characters affected by Valeera’s faction-change issue must enter a Delve, leave it, and then log out to correct the problem.
Blizzard’s September 23 hotfix notes list the changes under Classes and Delves.
World of Warcraft: Midnight 12.1 Patch Notes
The class entries correct unintended behavior rather than introduce new tuning values. The Delves fix also includes a required workaround for characters that changed factions before the issue was corrected.
Classes
- Death Knight
- Unholy
- Resolved an issue with Blightfall doing less damage as more time passes since the plague was applied.
- Unholy
- Monk
- Windwalker
- Fixed an issue that caused PvP adjustments to Windwalker’s Celestial Conduit and Flurry Strikes to apply in PvE as well.
- Windwalker
Delves
- Fixed issue where Valeera becomes unable to change talents and gain abilities after a faction change. Players experiencing this will need to enter a delve on the affected character, then leave the delve, and then log out to correct the issue.
