PlayStation has shown off the PS5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle, with preorders scheduled to open on August 19, 2026. The first look appears in the PlayStation Blog announcement, which confirms that the bundle and related accessories will be available in limited quantities beginning September 15, 2026.
The bundle includes a PS5 Digital Edition, a matching DualSense wireless controller, and a game code for Marvel’s Wolverine. Its yellow-and-black look draws from Insomniac Games’ Battle Reborn suit and Wolverine’s claws, with slash marks worked across the console and controller.
The hardware reveal follows the game’s San Diego Comic-Con presentation, which introduced more story details, a new suit, and soundtrack information in a Marvel’s Wolverine panel recap.
Battle Yellow and Adamantium designs
Alongside the console bundle, PlayStation will sell the DualSense Wireless Controller – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition on its own. The controller uses the same yellow base and black claw graphics as the bundle hardware.
Owners of a slim PS5 or PS5 Pro will also be able to pick up Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition console covers. The PS5 covers support models with disc drives and disc-free models, while the PS5 Pro version uses the same claw-marked design.
A second PS5 Pro cover takes a different approach. The Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition uses a metallic finish inspired by the metal bonded to Logan’s skeleton and claws. A matching Adamantium DualSense controller will be sold separately as well.
Scottish graphic artist Jock, who contributed key art for Marvel’s Wolverine, helped define the comic-inspired look. Insomniac Games Creative Director Marcus Smith also praised the artist’s rough, kinetic illustrations as a strong match for Wolverine’s violent fighting style.
Prices and preorder details
Preorders for the bundle and Battle Yellow controller will begin at 10:00 a.m. local time on August 19, 2026. In the U.S., preorders will start at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET. The products will be sold through direct.playstation.com and select retailers.

Direct PlayStation orders will be available in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Austria. Select retailers will carry the products outside those regions, while supplies last. Marvel’s Wolverine is scheduled to launch on PS5 on September 15, 2026.
