Windrose gets a tidy 0.10.0.8 cleanup for ship combat and Japanese text

The update fixes long-range projectile hit registration, improves Japanese localization, and leaves one front-cannon damage bug on the dev team's future list.

Windrose’s 0.10.0.8 update is a small one, but it targets two areas that can matter fast in a pirate survival game: combat accuracy and localization. The patch focuses on a long-range projectile fix, while also giving the Japanese text a polish pass. One known issue is still hanging around in this build, and the team said it is already working on a future fix.

Patch Notes 0.10.0.8

Here are the official notes for the latest Windrose patch:

  • Fixed an issue where projectiles could pass through ships without registering hits at long distances.

  • Improved Japanese localization.

  • Known issue: A random bug may cause volleys fired from the front cannons to deal no damage, even when cannonballs clearly hit the ship’s hull. This will be fixed in a future update.
