Warhammer 40,000: Darktide just got a fresh hotfix, and it’s all about smoothing out some rough edges. Hotfix #68 (version 1.7.6) is rolling out now, tackling bugs with the Admonition Ascendant totem and fixing crashes that could ruin your run. If you’ve been running Vigil Station or tackling Rolling Steel, this update might save you some headaches.
Patch Notes for Hotfix #68 (1.7.6)
Admonition Ascendant Fixes
- Fixed cases where the top part of the Nurgle totem would fall through its body.
- Addressed low-quality textures on some skulls decorating the totem.
- Resolved issues where sound from the Nurgle totem would cut out during intense moments.
General Fixes
- Fixed a crash that happened when dying in Vigil Station Oblivium.
- Fixed a crash triggered when tagging enemies as they were dying.
- Fixed a crash occurring at the end of the Rolling Steel mission.
- Fixed Disrupt Destiny not showing stack counts in the HUD.
- Fixed The Theatre of Castigation wave compositions not randomizing properly.
Yikes, those crashes could really mess up your flow, right? Now the Nurgle totem shouldn’t just randomly vanish or mute itself either, which is important when trying to soak in that grimdark atmosphere. I’ve seen plenty of players get frustrated when wave compositions don’t change up; at least that’s sorted.
