Hotfix #62 (1.6.9) hits our consoles and PCs today. Let’s break down what you can expect from this update:

Patch Notes

  • Fixed a crash: Some players reported crashes when moving the analog stick on a controller during transitions in the Havoc menu. No more unexpected black screens!
  • Cosmetic item color swap issue resolved: A few cosmetic items had their colors flipped from military green to teal. Suppose you were wondering why your character suddenly looked like they belonged in an aquarium. Fret not. This should be fixed now.
  • Description fix for Ogryn Talent: The description of the Ogryn “Payback Time” Talent was displaying as undefined text. Clarity is key here; no one wants to feel confused about how to wreak havoc on their foes.

If you’ve been keeping up with community chatter, especially on Reddit, you may have noticed these issues popping up repeatedly among discussions. Players are eager for smoother sailing through missions without stumbling over technical hiccups that disrupt their gaming flow. Given how brutal Darktide‘s setting can be, every fix counts when trying to stay alive against waves of enemies!

This is not only about fixing bugs, it’s also about giving players back that sense of immersion that can sometimes get lost amid tech glitches and crashing menus. So what do you think? Feel free to share your thoughts or experiences below!
