Today’s War Within 11.2 hotfixes focus heavily on smoothing out class bugs and fixing some dungeon quirks that have been annoying players. Mages get the most attention, but Druids, Hunters, Paladins, and Warlocks also see some fixes. There’s also a neat PvP update and a quest fix that might save some players from getting stuck.
Let’s get into the nitty-gritty.
Class Fixes
- Druid (Restoration): Swiftmends enhanced by the Ornaments of the Mother Eagle 4-piece will now properly splash healing to allies again. That bug was messing with group healing flow.
- Hunter: Precise Shots will finally grant its global cooldown reduction even if spell-queued after Aimed Shot. Guess that one was tripping up some rotation timing.
- Mage: Several fixes here. Sunfury’s Gravity Lapse no longer ignores line of sight sometimes, which was weird. For Arcane, Nether Flux won’t have a grace period after damage from Arcane Missiles, and it can’t be cast while silenced anymore. Also, the PvP-only 2-piece and 4-piece set bonuses now apply correctly. Fire Mages won’t get multiple Fireball casts benefiting from a single Flame Accelerant instance anymore, which was kinda busted.
- Paladin (Protection): Sanctuary and Undisputed Ruling no longer cause players to lose Consecration benefits if multiple are active and one expires. That was confusing for tank survivability.
- Warlock (Diabolist): The Manaforge Omega 2-piece tier set bonus damage is fixed to the correct amount. No more underperforming damage numbers.
Dungeon Improvements
- Lindormi will now trade keystones properly after Mythic+ dungeons completed within the time limit. That glitch was frustrating for groups wanting to swap keys.
- Ara-Kara, City of Echoes: Cultivated Poison won’t mistakenly apply to the boss herself when fewer than 3 targets are present. Weird behavior that could mess up boss fights.
Player versus Player
- Conqueror’s Astral Lacquer and Conqueror’s Astral Varnish can now be bought with Conquest to add Season 3 PvP item-level to Season 3 class set armor. A nice option for PvP gear upgrades.
Quest Fixes
- Fixed a progression-blocking issue when “Return to the Veiled Market” is attempted while on the quest “Repossessed!” at the same time. No more getting stuck in quest limbo.
These hotfixes might seem small, but they fix some annoying bugs that players have been dealing with since the patch. Mages, in particular, should feel a bit smoother now, and dungeon key trading finally works as intended. PvP players can also snag some upgrades without hassle.
