War Thunder has opened its 235th Steam Screenshot Competition, giving players until August 7, 2026, to submit a fresh image featuring at least one of their vehicles. Gaijin Entertainment shared the contest details in an official Steam announcement.
This edition has a wide-open theme. Players can capture anything from a tank ambush to the final moments of an aerial battle, as long as their own vehicle is visible. Six winners will receive 300 Golden Eagles each. Three prizes will go to the highest-rated community entries, while judges will select the other three.
How to enter
Upload the screenshot to the War Thunder Steam Community Hub and use #WTscreen235 as the title. The tag must be the only text in the title. The contest’s participation page contains the submission route.
- The image must include at least one player vehicle.
- The screenshot must be the entrant’s own work and must not have appeared in an earlier contest or publication.
- Only raw screenshots taken in the game are accepted.
- Outside editing software and visual filters such as Nvidia Ansel are not allowed.
- Filters, settings, and replay tools built into War Thunder may be used.
- Entries must follow War Thunder’s rules.
- An artist can win through the popular vote only once every four screenshot competitions.
- Rewards will be delivered to each winner’s account within 14 working days.
Winners from the 234th competition
The previous competition, titled “Changing Tides,” focused on amphibious vehicles. Its three community-vote winners were the first entry, the second entry, and the third entry.
The judges selected one additional winner, another winning screenshot, and the final winner. Each received 300 Golden Eagles.
