War Thunder’s USS Arkansas Is Back at 30% Off Through September 21

The U.S. battleship costs 5,614 Golden Eagles under USA > Bluewater fleet > Premium vehicles, then returns to 8,020 Golden Eagles after the offer ends.

War Thunder has brought the USS Arkansas back to the shop at a 30% discount, reducing the dreadnought’s price to 5,614 Golden Eagles. The offer began on September 17 at 11:00 GMT and runs until September 21 at 11:00 GMT.

Players can find the ship under USA > Bluewater fleet > Premium vehicles. Gaijin Entertainment detailed the promotion in its Steam announcement. Once the discount ends, the USS Arkansas will return to its regular price of 8,020 Golden Eagles.

The battleship was laid down in January 1910, launched in 1911, and commissioned into the U.S. Navy on September 17, 1912. Its wartime service included support for Allied landings in Normandy and Provence, followed by operations at Iwo Jima and Okinawa during World War II.

What USS Arkansas brings to the fleet

USS Arkansas carries twelve 305 mm guns arranged across six turrets, giving it a heavy main battery for naval engagements. Its anti-aircraft armament is just as extensive, with eight 76 mm guns, twenty-four 28 mm guns, and twenty-six 20 mm autocannons.

The combination gives the ship plenty of tools for dealing with both surface targets and aircraft. Players who want the premium vessel at its lower price will need to purchase it before September 21 at 11:00 GMT.
