War Thunder’s July decal batch packs clowns, skulls, and squadron emblems
The event runs from July 9 at 11:00 GMT to August 10 at 09:00 GMT, and every task can be cleared with rank III or higher vehicles.

War Thunder is bringing in a fresh July decal set, and this one mixes clown nose art, wartime squadron markings, and a few very specific military unit emblems. The decals will be available from July 9 at 11:00 GMT through August 10 at 09:00 GMT, and every task can be completed with rank III or higher vehicles.
The first pair covers the USA and Germany. “Downs’ Clowns” Emblem asks players to deal 10 tons of base damage while using US Bombers, while I./ZG 26 Emblem “Ringelpitz” unlocks after defeating 50 players using German Aircraft. The American decal comes from B-29 nose art used during the Korean War, while the German marking goes back to Zerstörergeschwader 26 and the Battle of Britain era.
The next set moves to France, Uruguay, and Denmark. FFI Emblem requires 15,000 score while using French Ground Vehicles. Grupo de Aviación N.º 1 (Ataque) Emblem needs 70 Ground or Water targets destroyed using Aircraft. 5. Opklaringseskadron Emblem asks for 20 “Intelligence” awards while using Swedish Light Tanks.
The last group spreads across Japan, the USSR, China, Italy, and Britain. 29th Sentai 2nd Chutai Emblem “Dokuro” requires three finishes in positions 1-3 with Japanese Aircraft. 168th IAP Emblem calls for 20 air-to-air missile kills with Soviet Aircraft. 151st Combined Arms Brigade Emblem “Thunder Flying Tiger” needs 10 wins using Chinese Tanks. 132ª Brigata corazzata “Ariete” Emblem asks for 20 battles in Italian Ground Vehicles with at least 60% Battle Activity. 1st Mine Countermeasures Squadron Emblem is earned by scoring 20,000 damage with British Coastal Vessels.
All of the emblems will sit in the Monthly Decals tab at the bottom of the customization menu, and after a month they move into their normal categories. Players can also track each task from Player Profile > Decals > Monthly Decals and use the Track progress button from the hangar. Gaijin has used the same limited-time format for other country-themed decal events too, including Swedish Air Force Day and French Air Force Day.
