War Thunder Brings Back the J35A at Half Price Through Oct. 28
The Saab J35XS is discounted alongside it, and the J35A will remain available at its regular price after the offer.

War Thunder’s 50% discount on the J35A and Saab J35XS is live, with both aircraft available through October 28 at 11:00 GMT. The Rank VI J35A costs 4,545 Golden Eagles, while the Rank VII Saab J35XS costs 4,635. Gaijin’s Steam announcement places both under Sweden > Aviation > Premium vehicles.
The J35A also appeared in a short July promotion marking the Swedish Air Force centenary. This time, the aircraft will remain available after the sale at its regular price of 9,090 Golden Eagles.
The promotion marks the Draken’s first flight on October 25, 1955. The fighter’s double-delta wing design could reach Mach 2, and the aircraft remained in service until 2005.
In War Thunder, the J35A pairs two 30 mm cannons with RB24 air-to-air missiles, m/56D unguided rockets, and a 510-liter external fuel tank. It has no countermeasures. The J35XS carries 12 countermeasures and can equip six RB24 missiles alongside a choice of four RB27s or four RB28s.
