I am a Rogue, I am a pesky Rogue who just came back to WoW recently. However, after the release of the new Allied Races thingy, I have met another Void Elf Rogue. I have met him in Antorus, The burning throne while doing my pugging life. For what I have learned, it appears that Void Elves own the best DPS racial, ever no matter if you’re a caster or a pesky Rogue like me.
As a Subtlety rogue, for which is one of the hardest out there to play, I have had the chance to meet another Subtlety Rogue but instead of a NELF, which is my current race, he was a Void Elf. Void Elves appear to have insane damage boost if you pay attention to your procs and execute your rotations right.
Unlike the Nelf rogue and their racials, when it comes to PVE and especially PUGGING, it appears that Nelfs can survive much more comfortable than the Void Elves. However, Void Elves are beasts in DPS. Void Elves have a passive that boosts your DPS quite high, which is needed for main Subtlety rogues. Even if their blink is lame and Crimson Vial is much better for survival, the DPS increase when it comes to raiding is much more appreciated.
While a was speaking with the Void Elf, which had a 3.2k Raider.io score, and is M raider stuck at Aggramar, he has confirmed the same, like if you pay attention to your DPS rotation window and pay attention to the racial DPS boost, Void Elves rogues are by far the best. Well, I think this is a perfect time for Blizzard to include a race change with a bought copy. If someone buys a copy, and he is an existent WoW player, it would be much better for him to just swap his main racial to what’s the best, instead of having a level boost available.
It is much more rare to see a main swapping to the best Race instead of boosting another one. Simple as that. However, Blizzard won’t allow that.
