Iron Gate says Valheim will reach version 1.0 on September 9, 2026, and the release will include full crossplay across platforms.
The announcement came with a new trailer on Valheim’s official site, and it follows the studio’s earlier push toward the Deep North in a recent Valheim update.
Iron Gate also said it will have a booth at Gamescom in August, giving attendees in Cologne a chance to stop by and try Valheim on the show floor.
Alongside the release news, the team pointed to the current Makeship campaign, which has three new plushies up for grabs: the Valkyrie, the Serpent, and the Jumbo Troll. Iron Gate also named Snowspire Citadel by xiaoming as this month’s Build of the Month and invited players to submit their own creations with the #ValheimBotM tag or through Discord.
