Unrailed 2: Back on Track received another hotfix this week after a recent performance update, with the developer saying major issues should now be resolved. The short patch, listed as v-700-7830baf on the game’s news post, focuses on restoring MacOS cross-play that had been broken, correcting versus maps that were showing the wrong assets, and cutting down on random crashes during the loco labyrinth. It also includes a handful of quality-of-life tweaks, such as a tutorial skip option and an automatic driver change for Vulkan crashes.
Console PC Gaming has been tracking these quick follow-ups; we covered a similar rapid response in Halls of Torment hotfix fixes crashes, trait and DLC display issues where the studio pushed a compact fix for crashes and UI bugs. Players should see the update through Steam automatically; the developer asks folks to report anything that still misbehaves so remaining problems can be tracked down.
