Listen up, Rejects! You’ve all had it too easy so far. At least that’s what Commissar Dukane thinks! It’s time to take your weapons training into high gear because Havoc is here to shake things up! This mode is designed exclusively for Trust Level 30 players who are ready to tackle some serious challenges, like surviving waves upon waves of increasingly aggressive foes.
You can find the changes below:
- New Game Mode – Havoc: Think you’ve mastered the threat over Tertium? Think again. Havoc is a new end-game experience that will test the resolve of the most seasoned operative. Be ready to face daunting challenges and earn new cosmetic rewards.
- New Mission – Dark Communion: Return to the Carnival and explore its darkest corners. Steel yourself as you face hordes of cultists who will stop at nothing to achieve their dark communion.
- Three New Weapon Families: Tear through waves of enemies by wielding the destructive might of the Two-Handed Force and Power Swords, and the Ogryn Heavy Stubber.
- Anniversary Special Event: To celebrate the second anniversary of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, an event rewarding players with a unique weapon trinket.
- And more…: Including an expanded Penance progression track with new challenges and quality-of-life improvements like an extended Party Finder feature.
New Game Mode: Havoc
So here’s how it works: You’re looking at a tiered progression system split into Assignment Ranks, 40 in total! The higher you climb, the tougher it gets, think different modifiers that’ll keep you on your toes (or make you scream). Can I get a “Holy Emperor!”?
Each week, you’ll have three attempts per rank before being demoted, but don’t worry, it won’t affect your Clearance Level unless you’re slacking off completely! And if teamwork makes your dream work? You can join parties with friends or even help someone else clear their tough missions!
The icing on this explosive cake? There are earnable frames, logos, titles, and sleek black cosmetics waiting as rewards along your journey!
Now let’s talk about our fresh mission, the ominously named Dark Communion. Get ready for hair-raising moments as Interrogator Rannick sends you back into those creepy Carnival streets where shadows lurk around every corner.
New In-Game Event: Cry Havoc!
Dukane plans to turn these untested fighters into reliable soldiers, but hold onto your controllers because progress means completing Havoc missions or teaming up with newcomers under Trust Level 30. Ready for some sweet rewards like Ordo dockets? Mark December 3rd on your calendar!
New Weapons
Brace yourselves because we’re getting three brand-new weapon families that look wicked! Imagine swinging around Two-Handed Force Swords like a boss while blasting enemies away with Ogryn Heavy Stubbers.
For example:
2h Powersword – Relic Blade:
This massive sword brings huge damage potential alongside stunning reach, a perfect combo for slicing through heretics in style.
Covenant Mk VI Blaze Force Greatsword:
A special blade that not only deals devastating damage but also comes packed with flair thanks to its warp energy enhancement feature!
Weapons aren’t just about looks, though. They come loaded with unique combos tailored for horde control or single-target takedowns, depending on how fancy you want to feel during combat.
There’s also exciting updates regarding player reporting systems which aim at keeping things fairer in matches while discouraging disconnecting tactics mid-mission, no one likes that guy who leaves when they’re down!
This is just part one of what promises to be an exhilarating patch update filled with excitement, honestly? I can’t wait for part two myself!
