Twitch prohibits streaming of gambling sites that include slots, roulette or dice games

No more Gamba on Twitch.

On Tuesday, one of the biggest gaming live-streaming platforms, Twitch, decided to take action against gambling streams that “include slots, roulette or dice games that aren’t licensed either in the U.S. or other jurisdictions that provide sufficient consumer protection.” After the extensive discussion in the community, many agreed that it was about time this happened.

This ban applies solely to sites that are not licensed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions that provide sufficient consumer protection. Sites like Stake.com, Rollbit.com, Duelbits.com, and Roobet.com will have no place on the Twitch platform. Hence, streamers will no longer be able to promote these gambling websites.

On the contrary, Twitch will allow websites to focus on sports betting, fantasy sports, and poker. The new update policy will be in effect on October 18. Streamers like xQc, Trainwrecks, Roshtein, and other popular streamers should now seek a new home if they want to continue their gambling streaming career.
