Microsoft’s July 7 Game Pass Wave 1 post starts with Winds of Arcana: Ruination, which was listed as available on July 6, and then stretches the calendar through July 21 with cloud, console, handheld, and PC releases. The timing matters too, because the lineup arrives after Microsoft defended the recent Game Pass Ultimate price rise.
The biggest names land on July 9 and July 21. Gears of War: Reloaded arrives on July 9 for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC, while The Planet Crafter and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 both arrive on July 21. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 comes to Cloud, Console, and PC, and The Planet Crafter joins Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Microsoft also packed in a spread of smaller arrivals between those dates, including Tamashika, Ascend to Zero, PBA Pro Bowling 2026, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, Mavrix by Matt Jones, FixForce, and Fogpiercer. Ascend to Zero was marked as a day-one Game Pass release on July 13, and Quarantine Zone: The Last Check was listed as moving into Cloud and Console support.
The update side is just as busy. Palworld 1.0 lands on July 10 as a full-game release across Cloud, Console, and PC, while Wuthering Waves arrives the same day on Xbox Series X|S and PC with Game Pass rewards that include x2 Morphable Echo, x10 Premium Tuner, x30000 Shell Credit, and the Xbox-exclusive Sigil “Paths and Possibilities.” League of Legends also gets a perk tie-in, with champion Locke available now through Game Pass benefits.
Microsoft closed the post with a July 15 departure list that cuts a wide path through the catalog, including Dungeons of Hinterberg, EA Sports Football Club 24, Stellaris, Golf With Your Friends, Minami Lane, Powerwash Simulator, Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, Splitgate: Arena Reloaded, Super Fantasy Kingdom (Game Preview), and Techtonica (Game Preview).
