Throne and Liberty Players Can Design the Next Gauntlet Cosmetic
The grand-prize design will be added to the game with its creator's name featured in the item tooltip.

Throne and Liberty has opened a community contest asking players to create an original design for the game’s Gauntlets weapon. The winning concept will become an official cosmetic, and the creator’s name will appear in its tooltip. The full rules and schedule are available in the official Steam announcement.
Artists of every skill level can take part. The contest is focused on the idea behind each design rather than polished artistic technique, so a clever concept can compete even if it was not made by a professional artist.
Submission and voting dates
The submission period runs from August 20 through September 3 at 10:00 a.m. PT. Community voting will follow from September 8 through September 11, with players choosing the final winner from the selected entries.
How to enter the Gauntlets contest
-
Download the official Gauntlets template.
-
Create an original Gauntlet design using the template.
-
Post the finished artwork in the #community-threads channel on the official Throne and Liberty Discord before September 3 at 10:00 a.m. PT.
-
Include the design as an image, a creative name for the Gauntlet, a brief one- to two-sentence description, your character name, your character region, and your character server.
Each participant may submit one entry. The artwork must be the participant’s own creation, and AI-generated artwork is not allowed.

Design restrictions to keep in mind
The core outline and overall shape of the Gauntlets must remain unchanged. Contestants can alter the colors, textures, and surface materials, as well as add small decorative details on top of the weapon.
Those additions must stay attached to a single section and should not cross into another moving section or connect to a joint. A flower-themed design, for example, could place a three-dimensional bloom on the main wrist plate, but its petals cannot stretch across other sections of the Gauntlets. Entries that break these rules may become ineligible or require changes during production.

Submissions also cannot include copyrighted characters, logos, trademarks, or other third-party intellectual property. Offensive, hateful, explicit, and inappropriate content is prohibited. By entering, participants acknowledge that their artwork may appear on official Throne and Liberty channels, while the Community Team can remove entries that violate the rules or the spirit of the event.
Rewards for the finalists and winner
The Community Team and Development Team will review eligible submissions after the deadline and choose the Top 10 Finalists based on creativity, originality, and production feasibility. Those finalists will appear in a community Discord poll, where players will decide the Grand Prize Winner.
-
Grand Prize Winner: The winning Gauntlet becomes an in-game cosmetic with the creator’s name added to its tooltip, along with the Brush Boss Title, an Archboss Weapon Selection Chest, and one 6,000 Lucent Pack.
-
Nine Honorable Mentions: Each receives the Brush Boss Title and one 2,875 Lucent Pack.
-
All Top 10 Finalists: Each receives the Gauntlet Visionary Discord Role for 60 days.
The contest gives Gauntlets users a chance to leave a permanent mark on the weapon’s cosmetic lineup, whether their idea is a careful color redesign or something far more unusual that still respects the template’s moving parts.
