The Outlast Trials opens Prime Time with new rules and two MK challenges
The limited-time catalog runs until June 16 at 10am ET, then two routine therapies follow from June 16 through July 14.

The Outlast Trials has started Prime Time, a limited-time event that pushes Reagents into a harsher mix of propaganda, fanaticism, and chaos. The update adds the Prime Roulette variator, lets players destroy Murkoff’s broken televisions for extra rewards, and brings in two new MK-Challenges.
The event also adds a limited-time catalog where players can spend Event Tokens on exclusive rewards. That catalog will be removed when Prime Time ends on June 16 at 10am ET, and any unused Event Tokens will be forfeited.
Once the event wraps, the game will move into two new Routine Therapies. CLASSIFIED runs from June 16 to June 30, while MIRROR follows from June 30 to July 14. The new MK-Challenges are WIN THE TRUTH and INCINERATE THE RELIC. The update also adds new Routine Therapies, balance changes, and bug fixes across the board.

Patch Notes
The biggest changes here are the new event rules, the temporary catalog, and the post-event therapy rotation. On the systems side, the update also tweaks Classified tutorials, adjusts Escape the Lies, and changes how Invasion works for imposters and Ex-Pops.
Additions/Fixes/Balancing
- The previously removed “Rare” cosmetic tier has been reintroduced under a new designation: Enhanced.
- Variator “Classified”: Tutorials for randomly selected variators are no longer displayed at the start of a Trial.
- Escape the Lies: Fixed an issue where the “Mandatory Secondary Objective” variator did not function as intended during this Trial.
- Escape the Lies has been removed from Escalation since there is no Shuttle sequence to choose your loadout.
- Fixed an issue where bandages could be reused when cancelling its animation.
Invasion
- Ex-Pops no longer react to imposters, unless directly obstructed.
- Imposters are now invulnerable to other projectiles for a longer period of time after being hit by a projectile. Additional hits during this window trigger reduced reactions.
- Imposter scoring penalty caused by projectiles is not affected while in the invulnerability period anymore.
- Imposter deployment is no longer tied to the number of Reagents alive in the Trial. It’s still affected by the total amount of Reagents in the game (1-2 reagents = 1 imposter, 3-4 reagents = 2 imposters).
- Fixed an issue where a Reagent could still be executed if the Impostor was interrupted by another Reagent bashing through a door.
