The Outlast Trials Hotfix Fixes Console Arrows and Loading Issues

The Outlast Trials team released a small but important hotfix, called Project Diarchy, on July 22nd. It addresses some pesky bugs that have been affecting the gameplay experience, particularly for console players and those with older CPUs or slower internet connections.

Here’s what got fixed:

  • Fix for the icon pointer arrows being offset on consoles.
  • Fix for “Destroy the Evidence” MK-Challenge end music.
  • Fix for a crash with CPUs that don’t support SSE3 instructions.
  • Fix for an infinite loading screen for players in low-bandwidth conditions with large profiles.

It’s good to see the devs listening to feedback and squashing these bugs quickly. If you spot anything else weird, you can always hop onto their Official 18+ Outlast Discord Server and open a support ticket to get help.

Will these fixes improve your survival run in the Sleep Room? I’d bet yes, but who knows what horrors still lurk. Either way, it’s nice to have these annoyances out of the way.
