The First Descendant penalized 479 users during its latest abuse crackdown, which covered Sept. 17 through Sept. 21, 2026, PDT. Most of the actions involved separate matchmaking penalties for uncooperative play, while 7 users received permanent game bans.
The figures came from the game’s Steam notice. Uncooperative play accounted for 447 separate matchmaking penalties, and unusual gameplay activity led to 25 more penalties of the same type.
How The First Descendant’s 479 penalties were divided
Two users were permanently banned for creating, distributing, or using unauthorized programs. Five more received permanent bans after gaining unfair benefits through exploitation of the Open Store payment process.
The latest total was 398 lower than the 877 actions recorded during the previous review covering Sept. 11 through Sept. 17, as detailed in the Sept. 11 through Sept. 17 review.
Enforcement decisions were based on player reports and monitoring. Players who encounter abnormal or abusive behavior can submit a report through the in-game reporting feature.
Users who want to contest a penalty tied to exploitation of the Open Store payment process can contact Customer Service through the official website’s 1:1 Support option. Chargeback disputes must instead be directed to the platform store that handled the payment.
