The First Descendant Hotfix 1.3.35b Targets Hammer and Anvil Fire Rates
The hotfix was scheduled for July 23 at 20:00 PDT on Steam, Xbox, and PS5, with a leaderboard reset planned one hour later.
The First Descendant Hotfix 1.3.35b was scheduled for July 23, 2026, at 20:00 PDT across Steam, Xbox, and PS5. The official Steam notice says the patch does not require a client update, so players will not need to download additional files.
Anyone who was already playing needed to return to the title screen and reconnect to apply the hotfix. The game could close for players who did not reconnect within 30 minutes after the patch.
The update addresses reversed fire-rate behavior for two components used by Hammer and Anvil. It also includes a reset for Solo Leaderboard records belonging to top-100 Descendants confirmed to have equipped the weapon. That reset was scheduled for July 23 at 21:00 PDT.

- All Solo Leaderboard records of Descendants ranked within the top 100 who are confirmed to have equipped ‘Hammer and Anvil’ will be reset.
