The First Descendant just got a quick hotfix that should smooth out some annoying Battle Pass problems. If you’ve been grinding but felt the daily EXP wasn’t resetting right or your daily challenges were stuck, this update might be the fix you needed.
Patch 1.3.1d arrived on August 18, 2025, across Steam, Xbox Series X│S, and PS5. No downtime was needed, so you could jump right back in without waiting around.
Here’s what got sorted:

- Fixed an issue where the Battle Pass daily bonus EXP was not resetting.
- As a way to make up for this, Battle Pass EXP will be handed out to all Descendants. More info on that will come later.
- Fixed a problem where a Battle Pass Daily Challenge wouldn’t show up if it refreshed with the same objective as before.
Seems like the devs really wanted to patch these Battle Pass hiccups quickly. Does anyone else find it frustrating when daily challenges don’t update properly? Guess they felt the same.
