The First Descendant handed out 400 penalties in its latest abuse sweep, covering June 19 through June 25 PDT. The week was dominated by matchmaking restrictions, but Nexon also logged permanent bans tied to cheating, Open Store exploitation, and trading abuse.
The breakdown started with 3 permanent game bans for creating, distributing, or using unauthorized programs. Nexon also issued 6 permanent game bans for exploiting processes related to the Open Store, along with 1 seven-day trading restriction after abnormal transaction records were detected. The largest group by far was the unusual gameplay category, where 390 users received a 3-day separate matchmaking penalty.
Nexon said the actions were based on player reports and internal monitoring. It also asked players to keep using the in-game report feature when they spot abnormal or abusive behavior, and pointed anyone disputing an Open Store payment-related action toward the platform store used for the purchase.
