THE FINALS Update 11.12.0 Pits ENGIMO Against COMETA for Fans

The Apogee XP event offers up to 200% XP from Daily Contracts and up to 150% XP and fans from gameplay.

THE FINALS Update 11.12.0 centers on a fan showdown between ENGIMO and COMETA, with the Steam announcement also detailing an Apogee XP event, a new store set, Twitch Drops, and bug fixes.

In Sponsor Showdown, players can represent either sponsor in any game mode and earn fans for the leaderboard. The contest has one winner, though the announcement does not specify a finish date.

Apogee XP runs through the end of Season 11. Daily Contracts award up to 200% XP, while gameplay can award up to 150% XP and fans. The next season is scheduled for Oct. 20, according to Embark’s season plans.

The store adds the Vacuum Grunt Set, presented as field gear for a mission where a radio is the contestant’s only contact with base. Twitch Drops are also available through Oct. 15, 2026. Watching a stream of THE FINALS with Drops Enabled for 1 hour earns the Forage Fortune Charm, 2 hours earns the Seed Money Earrings, and 4 hours earns the Havoc Raker Sledgehammer.

The fixes address a tutorial voice-over that could get stuck, cosmetic rendering and clipping issues, and party voice chat failing on consoles after a suspend and resume. Embark also fixed rare matches ending when players fired at moving platforms, a hang around podium scenes or the end of a round with DLSS Frame Generation enabled, spectator team colors that were not colorblind-safe, and weapons clipping into nearby walls.
