The Finals has just received Hotfix 7.1, focusing on fixing annoying bugs from the Season 7 launch and adding a few nice touches to the Practice Range and store. After an energetic start to Season 7, the developers have rolled out this update to smooth out gameplay and polish your experience.
Season 7’s first week brought plenty of memorable moments, from clever breach tactics to the Healing Emitter saving the day. The team has tackled some issues players encountered, including animations, weapon behavior, and social features. Plus, Season 6 trophies are now proudly displayed in the Practice Range’s trophy cabinet, a neat way to celebrate past achievements.
Patch Notes for Update 7.1.0
- Animation
Fixed the SA1216 Ditch & Switch reload animation. It now properly uses the Reload Empty animation and the correct asset. Players who lost the item during repair should have it back. - Gadgets
Breaching Drill: Fixed placement animation not playing correctly.
Healing Emitter: Resolved an issue where healing could go through barricades. - Practice Range
Added Season 6 trophies to the trophy showcase. - Gameplay
Fixed weapon dispersion breaking after death and respawn in some stances, such as jumping then firing while standing. - Dev Note: The new weapon system was temporarily disabled to fix this issue and is now re-enabled. If you spot anything unusual, the devs appreciate your feedback.

Fixed severe performance drops when emoting with a linked Gateway while using certain weapon skins or the Anti-Gravity Cube.
Improved PS4 performance by lowering memory usage. - Social
Fixed text chat access issues near end of rounds.
Resolved party-up failures after party leader changes when parties have more than three players.
Fixed club chat messages not displaying properly. - Store
Fixed discount display issue on the Ray Gun skin.
