The Wasteland is about to get a whole lot more colorful. February 18 marks the return of the much-anticipated Fasnacht Event in Fallout 76, bringing a parade full of quirky charm and unique treasures. There’s nothing quite like donning a festive mask and joining your fellow survivors for some good old-fashioned revelry amid the post-apocalyptic backdrop of Helvetia.
This year’s Fasnacht runs from February 18 to March 4, offering players ample opportunity to join in on the fun. Every hour, on the hour, you’ll find the Fasnacht public event lighting up your map. Head to Helvetia and chat with Mister Handy, the Master of Ceremonies. Together with your fellow Wastelanders, you’ll tackle various tasks set by the Protectrons, everything from saving bees to adding wood to bonfires.
Once you’ve managed these chores and five robots are ready, it’s time for parades! Your role? Provide security detail as they march through town in celebration. Success not only earns you a “Masked” prefix for your character title but also gives you a shot at snagging the elusive “Glowing” prefix and other delightful rewards.
New Masks and Rewards Await
A feast for your eyes: three new Glowing Fasnacht masks are up for grabs. From left to right: Big Foot makes an appearance alongside Jackalope, the legendary horned rabbit, and Veggie Man rounds out this eclectic trio. These masks promise to add flair and personality to any celebration you partake in.
Your C.A.M.P.s won’t be left out either! With flower box decorations like Rhododendron Flower Boxes plus Soot Flower, Aster, Mutated Fern, and Ash Rose Boxes, each available in flowering versions with fluttering butterflies, your space will feel alive once more.
The excitement around this event is palpable among players anticipating what surprises Bethesda has tucked away within Helvetia’s festivities this year for those curious about all these goodies straight from Bethesda’s vaults.
