STALCRAFT: X Servers Reopen With Trade and Map Changes

STALCRAFT: X players can return to the Zone after EXBO finished server maintenance on August 19, 2026. Access has been restored, and several interface changes and fixes are now active.

The reopening comes after the maintenance window was extended to 11:00 UTC in our earlier coverage of the downtime extension. EXBO confirmed the return of the servers in its Steam announcement.

Trading and map markers receive the biggest changes

The trade interface has been rebuilt to make player actions easier to read and register more accurately. Map markers also have more flexible visibility settings: each one can now appear on the map, in the game world, in both places, or nowhere.

The maintenance also addressed a problem with containers holding an active Polyhedron artefact. Changing locations should no longer unequip those containers. Reopening a case with the “Open more” button now plays its sound consistently, while the 23×75 Barricade round has received a structure-damage stat that was previously hidden.

The August 19 changes cover trading, marker visibility, artefact containers, case audio, and the 23×75 Barricade round.

• The trade interface has been fully redesigned — it now provides clearer visual feedback and responds more precisely to your actions.
• Map marker settings have been expanded. For each marker, you can now choose where it appears: only on the map, only in the world, everywhere, or nowhere.
• Fixed an issue where a container with an active Polyhedron artefact would be unequipped when changing locations.
• The case-opening sound now always plays when reopening a case using the “Open more” button.
• Added damage to structures to the 23×75 Barricade round. This stat was previously hidden.
