EXBO is lining up a short-lived event for STALCRAFT: X that will turn the North, the Wild North, and the Labyrinth into hotter territory from June 17 through June 24. The studio described it as a high-activity anticyclone, and the effects go beyond the weather report.
During that stretch, outposts will be capturable more often, announcement board tasks will refresh every few hours, and filler loot prices will rise for a limited time. The catch is just as sharp: mutant numbers will also go up, so players heading into the region should expect more pressure, not less. That lines up with the broader North map changes EXBO has been working through in recent updates.
