The October 2 STALCRAFT: X hotfix adds alternative Hideout crafting options that use Samples instead of Artifact Fragments. EXBO applied the change without stopping the game servers, as its Steam hotfix notice confirms. The change follows the September 30 patch notes, which introduced Samples as a Faction North loot item alongside its broader economy rework.

The new options provide another material route for the affected crafts. EXBO did not specify which recipes are covered or how many Samples each option requires.
