Spirit Will Meet MOUZ in the BLAST Bounty Season 2 Grand Final

The best-of-five final gives MOUZ another chance to solve a Spirit lineup that has won all three of their playoff meetings in 2026.

Spirit and MOUZ will meet in the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 Finals grand final, with the title match taking place on August 2. The championship series will use a best-of-five format.

The matchup gives MOUZ a difficult final hurdle. Spirit has won all three playoff meetings between the teams in 2026, taking 2-0 victories in the IEM Kraków third-place decider, the IEM Rio quarterfinals, and the PGL Astana semifinals.

MOUZ gets another shot at Spirit

MOUZ reached the final after defeating Astralis 2-1 in the semifinals on August 1. The team dropped Ancient before recovering with wins on Mirage and Dust2. Spirit also needed three maps to get past FaZe, coming back from a 10-5 deficit on Anubis to close out the series.

Those semifinal results set up a rematch between the two teams that have already crossed paths three times this year. The road to the final has been covered in the MOUZ semifinal win and Spirit’s victory over FaZe.

MOUZ also enters the final with a recent roster change in focus. The organization brought Oldřich “PR” Nový back during the off-season after he left its youth team and continued his development with GamerLegion in January 2025.

Adrian “xelex” Vincze suffered his first playoff defeat with MOUZ against Spirit at PGL Astana. He has since had more time to adjust alongside Dorian “xertioN” Berman, giving MOUZ another chance to test whether the lineup can stay competitive against Spirit over a longer series.

Spirit’s previous wins came without dropping a map, but a best-of-five creates more room for MOUZ to make adjustments. The final will determine whether Spirit’s dominance continues or MOUZ finally breaks through in this 2026 playoff rivalry.
