Slay the Spire 2 Beta Patch v0.111.0 Reworks Cards and Adds Indonesian

The beta build also adds low-HP idle animations, new card portraits, performance fixes, and no patch is planned for August 27.

Slay the Spire 2 beta patch v0.111.0 brings card reworks, balance adjustments, interface changes, performance work, and Indonesian localization. Mega Crit detailed the update in its Steam announcement.

The patch also adds portrait art for five cards and low-HP idle animations for every playable character. When a character is close to defeat, the game will now give them some extra visual flair instead of leaving the danger entirely to the health bar.

Balance changes cover the Ancients, enemies, Colorless cards, Ironclad, Silent, Regent, Necrobinder, and Defect. Several enemy attacks are stronger at higher Ascension levels, while cards such as Expect a Fight, Hyperbeam, Rend, and Mirage receive larger redesigns or stat changes.

On the usability side, cards with end-of-turn effects now play faster in large groups, players can confirm card selections with E again, and the invite button now appears even when the overlay is disabled. The patch also addresses save handling, map drawing, multiplayer crashes, reward focus issues, and stuttering when text first appears in several languages.

The team also warned that there will be no patch on August 27 because it is taking a break during the final week of August. The wait for the following patch may be longer as development concentrates on larger content additions, with more information planned for the upcoming August Neowsletter.
