skate. Season 5 Will Bring a Mountain Mega Park, New Modes, and 16 Underflips
Season 5 begins September 8, 2026, with update 0.32.0, while Parry Point Park and the remaining story chapters are planned for the mid-season 0.32.5 update.

skate. Season 5 will take players out of San Vansterdam and into the mountains when update 0.32.0 arrives on September 8, 2026. The season will add the S.U.M.R. Camp Mega Park, new tricks, revamped progression, fresh multiplayer modes, new brands, and a six-week story event centered on a missing City Councilor Slappy.
Full Circle detailed the rollout in its Steam Season 5 announcement, including which content will launch on day one and which additions will arrive later with update 0.32.5.
S.U.M.R. Camp adds a mountain-sized skate area
The biggest addition is the Super Ultra Mega Resort (S.U.M.R.) Camp Mega Park, a large mountain destination built around speed, height, and long downhill runs. It includes Rocky Ramps, Tube Mountains, Rockbottom Lodge, the Fishing Hole, and Bloody Gulch, a more hazardous route carved through the rock formations.
More than 30 paths will run through the mountain, giving players plenty of room for massive gaps, vertical lines, and high-speed sessions. The location is separate from the city, but it will be reachable by ferry from San Vansterdam. The Location Selector at the San Van Ferry Terminal will also make the available destinations easier to find.

Access will change throughout the season. skate.Premium Pass holders can enter S.U.M.R. Camp early from September 8 through October 6. From October 6 through December 1, players without Premium can purchase a 24-hour pass for 500 Rip Chips, which can be earned through Challenges and Bounties.
The Stadium will remain available throughout Season 5 through the Premium Pass or a 24-hour pass costing 250 Rip Chips. Isle of Grom will have General Access from September 8 through October 13, close for a week while the game prepares for the mid-season event, open to everyone from October 20 through November 3, and then return to General Access through December 1. Premium Pass holders will receive unlimited access to the three locations during their available seasonal windows.

Slappy’s disappearance becomes a six-week story
City Councilor Slappy has gone missing, and players will work with fellow SVCC member Izzy to find out what happened. The Have You Seen Him? S.U.M.R. Camp Story Event will unfold across six weeks of activities.
Weeks 1 through 3 will arrive with update 0.32.0 and unlock on September 8, September 15, and September 22, with each week requiring completion of the previous one. Weeks 4 through 6 will come later in the season with update 0.32.5.
The event will remain playable throughout Season 5 once players have access to S.U.M.R. Camp, including after the location enters General Access. It will not remain available after the season ends. Missions and Bounties will work together during the story, with voiced narrative moments playing as players complete their objectives.
Parry Point Park is coming to Hedgemont
San Vansterdam will also receive a mid-season street spot. Parry Point Park will arrive in Hedgemont along Blue Light Beach with update 0.32.5. In the meantime, S.U.M.R. Camp’s mountain theme will spill into the city through a rustic Block Party makeover, while construction begins at the old Hedgemont Community Park.
Progression and multiplayer modes are changing
Season 5 will replace Regular Tasks with Bounties, including Endless Bounties that continue to generate objectives and Crew Bounties tied to the DaKs. The system will also offer multiple progression routes, non-expiring challenges, weekly Spotlight Challenges, and additional ways to earn rewards through the skate.Pass and seasonal activities. Full Circle previously outlined the progression overhaul before providing the wider Season 5 breakdown.
Meetups: Block Parties will return as an official mode after its Season 4 test. Each event can support up to 150 players in a roaming skate contest. Events will begin every 30 minutes at :15 and :45, and players can join or leave simply by skating into the event area without a queue or sign-up.
Every Block Party will move between three randomized connected locations. Objectives can include street, park, and vert challenges, with late-round point multipliers that leave room for comebacks. Round and Overall leaderboards will track the action, while a visible crown will mark the current round leader. Rewards will come from completing Block Party tasks, so players will not need to finish in first place to make progress.
Season 5 will include four Block Party types:
- Invitational – the standard Block Party.
- Pro Comp – a slower, more realistic competition built around deeper trick knowledge.
- Mixer – relaxed social challenges with a party-focused format.
- Block Blitz – a fast battle held in one location for players who want a shorter event.
Spot Battles will also become available directly through the Throwdowns menu. Players can choose between Skate Jam and Spot Battles, set the location and group size, and watch the other competitors during a Spot Battle rather than simply skating through the event.
Season 5 adds Underflips and improved Footplants
Technical skaters will have new moves to practice when Season 5 begins. Underflips will arrive with 16 variations, while Footplants will receive four new or improved versions and their own Challenges and Bounties.

More brands and a larger Season 5 skate.Pass
Season 5 will add new gear from Converse, Baker, Deathwish, Online Ceramics, Primitive, Welcome, There / Unity, Krooked, and Venture. The skate.Pass will also include items from adidas and Carpet Company.
The pass will contain 110 tiers across 12 main pages and two bonus pages. The free Standard track will have 37 tiers, 33 cosmetic rewards, and four SVB tiers. The Premium track will add 73 tiers, 60 more cosmetic rewards, and 13 additional SVB tiers. Completing both tracks can provide 93 cosmetic items, 17 SVB tiers, and up to 1,500 SVB.
Rewards will include decks, trucks, wheels, griptape, stickers, clothing, shoes, costumes, hats, tattoos, gestures, profile banners, and avatars. The Premium track’s standout item is a Sumo suit that makes the skater bounce away after hitting a car or landing from a large drop.
The Standard track is free. Players can upgrade to Premium for 1,000 SVB, while Premium+ costs 2,000 SVB and includes Premium access plus 4,000 Tix to start unlocking items. Season 5 Premium Pass holders will also receive access to S.U.M.R. Camp, Isle of Grom, and The Stadium as part of the seasonal package. Pass content still requires gameplay and game updates to unlock.
Vans and Dem Bones packs
The Vans Season 5 Starter Pack will cost $4.99 USD and include a Vans x skate. bucket hat, jersey, jeans, Rowan 23s, and 500 SVB. The pack costs the same as the 500 SVB bundle while adding the branded cosmetics.
Season 5 will also offer Standard and Deluxe versions of the Dem Bones Pack. The standard bundle includes the Dem Bones costume, deck, wheels, trucks, three stickers, a seasonal Premium Pass, and 2,500 SVB. Deluxe adds the Cowboy Cosmetics set, which contains a hat, boots, shirt, jeans, trucks, three stickers, and 12 tattoos, plus another 2,500 SVB for a total of 5,000 SVB. Players who purchased Dem Bones Deluxe during Season 4 will not be able to purchase it again in Season 5.
The seasonal pass included with a Dem Bones purchase depends on the login date. Players must log in before the season ends to receive that season’s pass, according to EA’s skate. FAQ.
17 new tracks will start the season
The San Van playlist will add 17 tracks at the start of Season 5. The announcement names three of them:
- 2Hollis – Flash
- Jawdropped – Skully
- R.M.F.C. – Spectrum
Junior Varsity’s Cross the Street and 13 additional songs will also arrive with the season. Full Circle said the complete list will be shared later, with more music planned for the mid-season update.
October will bring a new seasonal event
A separate major event will begin in October and span multiple locations, including Isle of Grom. More information will come closer to its start. Update 0.32.0 is scheduled for September 8, while Full Circle plans to share its quality-of-life changes, bug fixes, and other patch details on September 7.
Season 5 has plenty of room for mountain runs, technical trick practice, social contests, and a little detective work. Tell us which addition you are most interested in trying, share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram, Steam, and Telegram.
