September’s PS Plus Essential refresh is live, giving active subscribers four games to claim and download on PS5 and PS4. The lineup brings together a tactical shooter, a baseball game, a retro-style RPG, and a physics-driven sandbox adventure.
Members have until October 6, 2026 to add the games to their PSN accounts. The updated lineup is available now, and each claimed game remains tied to the account and playable while its PlayStation Plus membership stays active.
September’s PS Plus Essential games
- Sniper Elite: Resistance for PS5 and PS4
- MLB The Show 26 for PS5
- Chained Echoes for PS4
- Wobbly Life for PS5 and PS4
PS5 subscribers can claim three of the four games. PS4 subscribers have access to Sniper Elite: Resistance, Chained Echoes, and Wobbly Life.
The original leak came from BillBil-Kun, whose Dealabs report named Sniper Elite: Resistance, Chained Echoes, and Wobbly Life. Sony had been scheduled to confirm the September lineup on August 26, and the games are now available through October 6.
Together, the selection covers tactical shooting, baseball, retro-inspired role-playing, and physics-based sandbox chaos. It also follows August’s lineup, which included Dying Light 2: Stay Human, Big Walk, and Signalis, as covered in our August PS Plus lineup coverage.
