Hey everyone, a fresh update for SCUM just landed, packed with a bunch of bug fixes, a cool birthday-themed paint pattern for the community, and some important improvements to server protection. If you’ve been playing lately, you might notice smoother gameplay and fewer annoying glitches.
One of the biggest additions is a new protection method designed to stop players from bypassing ping limits, which could cause lag and instability on servers. Server owners will be able to turn this feature on or off with a simple setting called scum.EnableNetWatchdog. Official servers are currently testing it, and it will roll out fully once everything’s confirmed stable.
And hey, shoutout to the community across the Atlantic celebrating their birthday — there’s a new loud paint pattern you can slap on your gear. You can even tweak the colors if you want to be a bit sarcastic about it. I kinda love the vibe!
