Gamepires released hotfix 1.2.0.1.103760 for SCUM on Steam on December 23, 2025. The update targets a clutch of event-era problems, from item-detection skill progression to ammunition stacking exploits, and includes server-side fixes related to the recent partial wipe.
The patch is small but focused: it corrects how the Awareness skill scales with detected items, blocks crafting tricks that allowed Twitch drop weapons, prevents event ammo stacking, restores proper Tommy gun capacity during events, and adds a handful of level design and server stability fixes. Players running event servers or participating in time-limited events will see the most immediate effect.
For context on recent fixes, see our previous hotfix notes.
