Schedule 1 players picked special customers for the next big update

Tyler said the feature will add traveling customer groups, while gamepad support and Steam Deck certification are still in progress.

Schedule 1 players picked Special customers as the winner of community vote #3, which means the next update will revolve around traveling buyer groups.

On April 26, Tyler said Special customers finished first with 142,287 votes. Drivers came in second with 125,314 votes, while police improvements placed third with 117,677. It follows the game’s earlier community vote, which chose Shrooms as the next drug type in the second vote.

The planned update will add groups such as Bikers, Businessmen, Hippies, Party bus, and Rock band. Tyler said each group will prefer one or two drug types and buy in bulk when they are in town, giving players a quicker way to clear stock even if the profit per sale is a bit lower. The developer also said the update is likely to be art-heavy and should land in June-July.

Right now, the team is working on gamepad support and Steam Deck certification. That work should be done in about a month, and development on Special customers will likely begin in about two weeks.
