Schedule 1 Open Beta Patch v0.4.0f2 Brings Graffiti and Fixes Multiplayer Issues

New graffiti system, spray paint item, and numerous bug fixes improve Schedule 1 gameplay experience.

Schedule 1 just got a fresh patch with version 0.4.0f2, adding a graffiti system that lets you spray paint surfaces to cut down cartel influence and earn XP. You can buy spray cans at Gas Mart, but only one per rank up, so use them wisely.

Cartel activity cooldowns have been tweaked, and the resell multiplier for all weapons is now lower. The cartel no longer gains passive influence, which might change how you approach the game. Police pickpocketing got tougher, too, so watch your pockets.

Some technical issues were resolved: JSON pretty-print was turned off for the trash save file, shrinking its size. It’s a small change, but it could help with performance.

Bug fixes? Oh yeah, there’s a bunch. Missing soil material? Fixed. Cartel dealers not working outside Westville? Fixed. Manor tunnels and states resetting on reload? Fixed. Region unlock popups acting weird? Fixed those repeating and missing ones. Multiplayer issues like cartel influence syncing, disconnects when knocking on Pillville, and pickpocket fails for non-hosts were all patched up. Even the vehicle AI now parks properly.

One quirky fix is that you can’t drag the cartel influence slider anymore, so no accidental tweaks there. Dealers will also now properly tell you when they’re out of stock, saving you from confusion.

Open Beta Patch v0.4.0f2

  • Tweaks/Improvements
    • Adjusted cartel activity cooldowns.
    • Reduced the resell multiplier of all weapons.
    • Disable cartel passive influence gain.
    • Turned off JSON pretty-print for the trash save file, offering a reduction in file size.
    • Increased police pickpocket difficulty.
  • Bug fixes
    • Fixed missing soil material.
    • Fixed cartel dealers not working outside of Westville.
    • Fixed cartel deal cash payments not appearing for non-hosts.
    • Fixed manor tunnel resetting on reload.
    • Fixed manor state (original, destroyed, rebuilt) resetting on reload.
    • Fixed region unlocked popup sometimes not displaying.
    • Fixed region unlocked popup repeating for Westville.
    • Fixed cartel influence not being synced in multiplayer.
    • Fixed wonky compass cardinal direction indicators.
    • Fixed multiplayer disconnect when knocking on Pillville.
    • The cartel influence slider is no longer draggable by the player.
    • Fixed dealers not notifying you when they are out of product.
    • Fixed manor loading docks.
    • Fixed multiplayer disconnection when you fail pickpocketing as a non-host.
    • Fixed vehicle AI not parking.

What do you think about the new graffiti feature? Could it change how you play, or is it just a neat gimmick? I’m kinda curious if this will help cut down cartel power or if it’s just for show. And those multiplayer fixes? Wow, they were neede,d and ever had your game crash just because you tried to knock on a door?
