Schedule 1 Community Vote #2 opens to decide next major update

Community Vote #2 lets players choose the next major update before this weekend.

Schedule 1‘s second community vote is now live, giving players a direct choice about what appears in the next major update. The vote runs until this coming weekend, and the three options are Hireable Drivers, Fishing, and Shrooms, each proposing new systems that could change in-game progression and economy.

From the main menu, players can open the vote and select which feature should arrive next. The announcement explains that the selection will shape the next major update and that results will be visible in the main menu after the voting period ends. The developer did not attach a firm release date for the winning option beyond the vote window. The official Steam announcement is available as a reference for the full message.

The three choices receive short summaries from the developer. Hireable Drivers would introduce an employee who transports items between properties, businesses, and dealers, with automatic transit routes and conditions for departures plus quality-of-life tweaks to the delivery system. Fishing proposes a classic minigame where players can reel in fish and other special items to sell at Randy’s Bait & Tackle, and it also brings several new ingredients and effects. Shrooms would add a new drug type, Magic Mushrooms, along with unique equipment, new effects, and a new supplier.

Voting closes this weekend and the developer plans to publish the result shortly after. No additional timeline details were provided for implementing the winning feature, so exact arrival remains uncertain. The short window means the community’s pick will steer the next major patch. The Steam announcement contains the developer’s original lines and is the primary source for the vote details.
