Patch Notes

Satisfactory v1.2.4.1 Targets Mod Audio Issues and Crashes

The patch notes center on restoring Audio Routing for Metasound and fixing crashes tied to audio and conveyor monitors.

Coffee Stain Studios has outlined Satisfactory v1.2.4.1 in a Steam announcement, with the patch aimed at restoring mod audio support and fixing several crashes. The Audio Routing change should let Metasound work by default again, addressing audio mod problems that began after the previous patch.

The notes also return Engine.ini to its original state to prevent potential issues with versions created in the last patch. Coffee Stain says it updated its internal Wwise version to 2025.1.6 in preparation for future development, and says it will avoid disabling Metasound again because many mods use it.

Earlier v1.2.4.0 notes focused on multiplayer stalls, blueprint problems, and crashes. This follow-up turns to audio routing, signs that could reset when loading a save, and stability issues involving Conveyor Throughput Monitors.
