Retro Gaming Deals Run Through Prime Big Deal Days’ Final Day

The Oct. 7 sale roundup includes a GameSir Pocket Taco for $27.99, an Anbernic RG35XXSP for $55.99, and a Retroid Pocket 5 for $219.

Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days are in their final day, Oct. 7, and retro gaming discounts cover handhelds, controllers, and gear for original consoles. Some offers are at Woot rather than Amazon, and not every reduced listing is marked as an event deal. Prime membership is required for subscriber-exclusive prices, but not for every discount.

Phone and retro controllers

The GameSir Pocket Taco is $27.99, 20% off and matching its previous low. Its Bluetooth connection lets a phone serve as a handheld-style gaming setup. The 8BitDo FlipPad remains $29.99 and connects by USB-C, making the Pocket Taco $2 cheaper.

For Sega Genesis and Mega Drive setups, the 8BitDo M30 Bluetooth controller is $23.99, down from $29.99. It also works with PC, Switch, and emulation setups, though original consoles need a Retro Receiver or adapter. At Woot, the 8BitDo N64 Bluetooth controller is $34.99 instead of $44.99. An original N64 also needs a Retro Receiver for that controller.

8BitDo’s Bluetooth Retro Receiver for PS1 and PS2 is $19.99, reduced from $24.99. It lets players connect Bluetooth controllers, including a DualSense, to those consoles. The 8BitDo Pro 2 is $30.69, down from $49.99. Another option is the GuliKit Elves 2 Pro and Goku 2 Wireless Adapter bundle for $35.93, compared with $49.89.

Handhelds, consoles, and arcade machines

The Retroid Pocket 5 is $219, down from $249. The clamshell-style Anbernic RG35XXSP costs $55.99 instead of $69.99. Its compact design recalls the Game Boy Advance SP, and it can emulate systems from the 1990s and 2000s. At the lower end, the My Arcade Atari Pocket Player Pro is $39.99, down from $44.99. The Evercade EXP-R with the Tomb Raider Collection is $89.99 instead of $129.99.

The C64 Mini Black Edition is listed at $65.98, just over $4 below its $69.99 price. Woot has the Atari GameStation Go for $119. It includes 200 classic games and can connect to a TV over HDMI.

The Atari 2600+ Pac-Man Edition is $139.99, down from $169.99. A Centipede countertop cabinet costs $179.99 instead of $199.99. For a sharper Woot markdown, the Numskull Burger Time mini arcade cabinet is $84.99, reduced from $249.99. It is a separate retailer offer, not an Amazon listing.

Display and original-console accessories

The ODV-GBS-C HDMI upscaler is $71.92, down from $89.90. Its motion-adaptive deinterlacing is designed for interlaced systems such as PS2. The OSSC costs $89.59 and uses line doubling to scale older consoles for modern displays. For N64 owners, the Summercart64 flash cart is $74.79, reduced from $87.99, and supports ROM hacks and backups.
