Rematch released a small hotfix today that fixes a weird Slingshot physics bug where the ball could leave a player’s feet and then snap back during certain inputs – this matters because it could let players keep possession in ways the team didn’t intend, and it broke some mid-match moments.
Short note on versioning: Patch 2 Hotfix #1 corresponds to build 1.200.202, dated August 22th, 2025. If you play Rematch online, this will change a corner-case that produced strange possession behaviour.
