Insomniac’s Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart was one first games announced for the PS5 and it’ll come out during the console’s launch window. The mechanics and overall flow of the game seem to look smoother than they were before. It truly is one of Insomniac’s most ambitious projects of recent times.
One of the cool things about it, is that it’s all still live gameplay where you can control your character. All those worlds that you’re traveling through during those sequences are real, fully fleshed out worlds that you could just, like, stop and play in under other circumstances
What’s really phenomenal about this game is the loading time between different worlds. Apparently, worlds are able to be loaded in “less than a second” and the fact that its possible on 4K 30FPS makes this even better. The release date for Rift Apart is yet to be revealed, with speculations centering around the initial release date of the PS4.
