Quake Champions’ New Patch Will Reset User Data

Bethesda is going to release a new Quake Champions patch. The patch is supposed to address a lot of user-reported issues and add further improvements to the game. While the game is still in Beta Version and the World Championships event is ongoing, Bethesda keeps on doing a great job with their newest Quake franchise. Tomorrow, Thursday at 9 am ET the User Stats (Armors, Weapons, Attachments, Shaders and Currency) is going to be reset.

This pretty much means that all of the owned Champions’ items will be deleted, and players will need to buy them all over again. The Challenges will also reset, which is not that disappointing as the items.

However, Quake Champions is still in early Beta and Bethesda need to do this in order to improve the game, so the patch is more than welcome. The patch will avoid resetting the Champions, Friends, Skill Rating and Nicknames, so players won’t need any additional setup.

This info came right before the patch is released, so players should not be disappointed at all. The full patch notes are missing, so whenever they’re published they will be posted over here. Stay tuned for more info!
