Pokémon’s New Polaroid Cameras Will Bring Pokémon Snap-Style Photos to Real Life
The crossover includes three cameras, themed film, and Poké Ball accessories, with preorders opening August 25 ahead of the October 5 launch.
Pokémon and Polaroid are teaming up for a camera collection that brings the feeling of Pokémon Snap into the real world. The crossover includes three themed instant cameras, custom film, and several Poké Ball-inspired accessories.
Preorders will open on August 25, 2026, through the Polaroid store and Pokémon Center in the U.S., U.K., and Canada. The full collection will launch globally in limited quantities on October 5, 2026.
Three Pokémon-themed cameras are coming
The Pikachu and Sylveon editions use the smaller Polaroid Go Generation 3 camera. Each one gets a different Pokémon makeover, along with a themed strap. Pikachu’s strap includes a charm shaped like its lightning-bolt tail, while Sylveon’s uses the Pokémon’s signature colors in a wavy design.
The third model is a Polaroid Now Instant Camera Generation 3 decorated in the familiar red, white, and black colors of a Poké Ball. These are not three color options for one camera: the Pikachu and Sylveon models are based on the Polaroid Go, while the Poké Ball Edition uses the larger Polaroid Now design.
All three cameras share one especially fun detail: their shutter buttons are modeled after a Poké Ball. Each camera also comes with film featuring Pokémon-themed frames, with designs inspired by characters such as Charmander and Bulbasaur. The film packs include custom darkslides decorated with Pokémon silhouettes.

The accessories are all built around the Poké Ball design. Alongside the camera cases, the collection includes a Poké Ball strap and a photo album, and the accessories can also be used with an existing Polaroid camera where compatible.
