Three Mega Evolutions lead the Mega Finale reveal
The teaser described a mega-powered celebration building toward the end of summer and asked Trainers to return the following day for a first look at what is coming. The preview now confirms that Mega Chesnaught, Mega Greninja, and Mega Delphox will make their Pokémon GO debuts during Mega Finale. Datamining earlier this summer had pointed to the same additions, and the three Pokémon already have visual assets, animations, and text entries in Pokémon GO. Their stats have not been added or confirmed, while the teaser still does not explain how they will appear or what activities will surround them.
The global event is scheduled for September 5 and 6, 2026. Those dates were established in the earlier global Mega Finale announcement, which came before any featured Pokémon had been named. This latest teaser gives the weekend its first confirmed lineup details.
Trainers now have three specific Mega forms to watch for when the full event information is shared. The upcoming reveal should fill in the missing details before the September celebration.
