Pokémon GO Will Give Trainers Up to 2 Extra Raid Passes After Americas Disruption

The passes will be available during Day 2 of Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Mega Finale on September 6.

Pokémon GO will give all Trainers up to two additional free Raid Passes during Day 2 of Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Mega Finale, after a short network disruption affected raids in the Americas on September 5.

The network issue has been resolved, but Trainers who lost a Raid Pass during the disruption should contact Support through the in-app Help Center to request compensation. Pokémon GO’s support guidance makes clear that this request is separate from the event-wide bonus passes, so affected players should not assume a missing pass will be restored automatically.

Pokémon GO’s official account said it was investigating the issue and described the extra passes as a thank-you for players’ patience. The reward applies to all Trainers and will be offered during the second day of the event, rather than as an immediate grant.

Day 2 is scheduled for September 6. Armored Mewtwo is also scheduled to appear in five-star raids from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time on September 5 and 6, as detailed in our coverage of Armored Mewtwo’s return. That gives Trainers another event day to use the additional passes once they become available.
