Pokémon GO players have spotted new Mega Evolution elements for the Kalos starters, with Chesnaught now showing a dedicated Mega Evolve option on its Pokémon profile.
The Chesnaught screen places the Mega Evolve button beneath Power Up and shows a cost of 300 Mega Energy. A separate Mega Energy entry also appears in the resource section, where the pictured Chesnaught currently has 0 Mega Energy.
The discovery comes after Scopely confirmed that Mega Chesnaught, Mega Greninja, and Mega Delphox will debut during Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Mega Finale on September 5 and 6. The newly visible interface gives Trainers an early look at how Chesnaught’s Mega Evolution could be handled in-game.
Nothing in the discovery confirms when the other Kalos starters will receive the same treatment, and the screenshot does not provide a separate release schedule. For now, the 300-energy requirement is the clearest detail attached to Chesnaught’s Mega Evolve button.
