The week of July 6 through July 12 is the kind of stretch Pokémon GO players usually circle twice. Forever Forward is underway, Road of Legends runs from July 6 through July 10, and Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global follows on July 11 and July 12.
The calendar does not ease up in between. The 10th Anniversary Party stays live through July 6 at 8:00 p.m. local time, the July 2026 GO Pass lands on July 7 at 10:00 a.m. local time, and GO Battle League shifts from Great League to Ultra League as the week moves on. Trainers who want the deluxe rewards can also upgrade through the Pokémon GO Web Store.
Top dates to keep in mind
- Monday, July 6: Max Monday features Dynamax Chansey from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. local time, and the 10th Anniversary Party wraps up later that day.
- July 6-10: Road of Legends brings daily raid rotations, daily Raid Hours from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. local time, Mega Raids, event bonuses, Special Backgrounds, Adventure Effects, and a new GO Pass.
- July 11-12: Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global runs from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time on both days and is free for all trainers.
- Spotlight Hour: There is no Spotlight Hour this week.
- GO Battle League: Great League and Summer Cup: Great League Edition run through July 7, then Ultra League and Fantasy Cup: Ultra League Edition take over from July 7 to July 14.
The anniversary event is still worth a quick look, too. Gimmighoul holding a 10th Anniversary Coin makes its Pokémon GO debut during the party, and the event also brings back party-hat favorites like Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.
Raids stay busy all week
Road of Legends is the big raid story here, and it keeps the board moving every day. Monday opens with a massive pool of five-star bosses, while the rest of the week rotates through headline names like White Kyurem, Black Kyurem, Crowned Sword Zacian, Crowned Shield Zamazenta, Origin Dialga, Origin Palkia, Primal Kyogre, and Primal Groudon.
Some of the week’s five-star raids also keep their usual regional rules. Uxie appears in the Asia-Pacific region, Mesprit shows up in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, and Azelf appears in the Americas and Greenland. Buzzwole, Pheromosa, Xurkitree, Celesteela, Kartana, Stakataka, and Blacephalon also keep their regional rotations. Nihilego, Guzzlord, and Necrozma do not have regional locks when they are active in five-star raids.
Shadow Raids are part of the picture as well. One-star and three-star Shadow Raids are available every day, and five-star Shadow Raids land on Saturdays and Sundays unless Niantic says otherwise. Shadow Palkia is part of Forever Forward, and it can even shine as a Shiny Shadow encounter if luck is on your side.
Eggs, research, and the rest of the week
If you are hatching Eggs or checking research rewards, this week has a few targets worth watching:
- 2 km Eggs: Exeggcute, Corphish, and Wynaut.
- 5 km Eggs: Riolu, Mantyke, and Flittle.
- 10 km Eggs: Mawile, Absol, and Frigibax.
- 7 km Eggs: Alola Diglett, Galarian Darumaka, and Galarian Corsola.
- Adventure Sync 5 km Eggs: Tyrogue, Budew, and Sableye.
- Adventure Sync 10 km Eggs: Bagon, Drampa, and Druddigon.
- Routes Rewards 7 km Eggs from Mateo Gift Exchange: Hisuian Sneasel, Hisuian Growlithe, and White Striped Basculin.
- Research Breakthrough: Dragonite, Honedge, Axew, Jangmo-o, Female Indeedee, and Klawf.
