Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global had a raid issue for Trainers in certain time zones, and Niantic is answering with a second raid event. On Sunday, July 26, 2026, Trainers in time zones from UTC+14 through UTC+0 will receive another chance to battle the Pokémon featured during the original Sunday event.
The official Pokémon GO update says the earlier problem stopped some Trainers from joining Raid Battles as usual, although their Raid Passes were not consumed. The make-up event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time and includes Mega Mewtwo Y Super Mega Raids.
Three raid rotations will run on July 26
The schedule is split into three themed blocks, giving Trainers a packed Sunday of battles. The first rotation, Earthforged Domain, runs from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. local time.

Mega Mewtwo Y and Team-themed Pikachu return
The compensation event will also feature Mega Mewtwo Y in Super Mega Raids. One-Star Raids will include Pikachu wearing Team Instinct, Team Mystic, or Team Valor hats.
Shiny versions may appear for the listed Pokémon when luck is on a Trainer’s side. Trainers can also receive up to nine free Raid Passes per day by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms.
Event bonuses and Remote Raid timing
Pokémon caught from Five-Star and Mega Raids during the event may have a Special Background. Mewtwo caught from Super Mega Raids may also receive one. When a Mewtwo with a Special Background is Mega Evolved, its Mega Evolution’s background will gain an extra visual effect.
Premier Balls will be more effective after raids. Trainers who previously purchased the Road of Legends Deluxe Pass will receive extra rewards during the event:
- 5,000 additional XP from completed raids
- 3 additional Candy from completed Five-Star and higher raids
- 1 additional Candy XL from completed Five-Star and higher raids
Remote Raids will have no limit for all Trainers from Saturday, July 25, at 1:00 p.m. PDT, through Sunday, July 26, at 12:00 p.m. PDT. The Link Charge cap will also increase to 2,000.
